1. General Provisions

• These Terms of Service govern the use of the ReceiptSplit mobile application ("the App").
• The App is developed and provided by Adam Drojewski, operating as "DEVCOD", based in Białystok, Poland, European Union ("the Developer").

• These Terms are available at receiptsplit.work/terms/ and can be downloaded, saved, and printed.

2. Definitions

• Developer — Adam Drojewski "DEVCOD"
• User — any person using the App
• Consumer — a User who is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession (as defined in EU consumer protection law)
• App — the ReceiptSplit mobile application available on Apple App Store
• Services — services provided by the Developer through the App

3. Description of Service

ReceiptSplit is a mobile application that enables:

• Scanning and digitizing receipts using AI
• Manual entry of receipt items
• Splitting expenses among participants
• Tracking payments and balances
• Sending payment requests

Users shall not use the App for any unlawful purposes or to distribute illegal content.

4. Technical Requirements

Using the App requires:

• iPhone or iPad with iOS 17.0 or later
• Internet connection (required for AI scanning; manual features work offline)
• Apple ID (required to download from App Store)

5. Terms of Use

The User agrees to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
• Not use the App to process or store illegal content

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

The App is available free of charge with the following:

• 10 AI receipt scans
• Unlimited manual entry
• All splitting and payment tracking features

6.2 ReceiptSplit Pro

Optional paid subscription with unlimited AI scanning. Available as a monthly or annual subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store.

6.3 Apple Subscriptions and Payments

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services for AI receipt processing. Details are available in the Privacy Policy.

Payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Revolut) are accessible via links only. The Developer does not process payments or share data with these services.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by the Developer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The User retains all rights to data entered into the App.

9. Liability

9.1 The Developer strives for accurate receipt scanning. Users should verify extracted data before making payments.

9.2 The App is provided "as is". The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9.3 The Developer is not responsible for disputes between Users regarding expense splits.

9.4 The Developer's liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Complaints

• Users may submit complaints by email to: support@receiptsplit.work
• Complaints should include a description of the issue and the User's contact details.
• The Developer will respond within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

11. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

• Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with the Consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment of loss of withdrawal right.
• Subscription refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

12. Alternative Dispute Resolution

• Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms.
• EU consumers can use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

13. Changes to Terms

• The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms.
• Changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, displaying a notice in the App.
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Final Provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.
• EU consumers may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
• If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
