Groups keep the same people together between receipts. Amounts in different currencies are kept apart and never added together.

Save a group and reuse it

How to save the people you split with as a group in the ReceiptSplit iPhone app: tap New Group on a receipt, give it a name and an icon, and save. On the next receipt, choose the group from the Group menu and everyone is added at once. The people and amounts in the video are examples.

1. Tap New Group
2. Name and icon
3. Tap Save
4. Next time = open another receipt
5. Group menu = pick your group
6. Tap Done

Archive a group

How to archive a group in the ReceiptSplit iPhone app: open the group, open its menu and tap Archive. Archived groups move to their own section, a group with open debts stays in Balances as a filter, and Restore brings it back. The people and amounts in the video are examples.

1. Open the group, then the menu
2. Tap Archive
3. Archived groups wait in their own section

Split costs in different currencies

How the ReceiptSplit iPhone app handles a receipt in another currency: choose the currency on the receipt (here euros), split it, and the home screen keeps dollars and euros in separate totals, never adding them together. The people and amounts in the video are examples.
